SEMA organization helps ensure repeal of 1099 clause in Obama’s health care bill

According to the SEMA newsletter I just recieved, the group has managed to secure the Small Business Paperwork Relief Act in the US Senate. This is a big deal, unless removed, starting in 2012 all businesses (and according to some, all individuals period) would be required to file a 1099 for any and every purchase over $600. This is a tremendous amount of paperwork and is supposed to keep businesses from hiding revenue. Click here for the full story.
